If you’ve ever opened a restock notification and found the cuts you wanted already gone, The Scratch Box was built for you.

Our chicken breasts sell out in under 30 minutes. Whole birds follow. By the time most customers open the notification, the best cuts are already gone. Founding Flock subscribers don’t have that problem. Your box is fulfilled before the restock goes live without exception.

When you add The Scratch Box to your cart and complete your purchase, you’re reserving your founding spot and paying for your first box. You’ll be billed approximately seven days before your next box is delivered.

What’s in every box:

2 dozen pasture-raised eggs
1 whole bird (4–4.5 lb)
2 packages of Boneless breasts
2 packages of rotating cuts: wings, drumsticks, and leg quarters

There will be no delivery in August and September. Your subscription mirrors our actual harvest calendar.

Priority fulfillment. Your box is packed and ready before the public restock opens. Every cycle.

First dibs on Thanksgiving turkeys. We’re raising a small number of pasture-raised turkeys this season, processed fresh the weekend before Thanksgiving and available for pickup only — never frozen. Founding Flock members receive a private 48-hour reservation window before public availability. These will sell out.

The commitment:

The Scratch Box is designed as a full season commitment running May through December. Six boxes, six restocks. You’re billed at each cycle. Cancel anytime with 30 days notice, but we ask that you honor the full season when possible. Your spot directly supports how many birds we raise each cycle.

Each subscriber receives one skip or delivery modification per season. Just reach out at least 7 days before your delivery date.

We are the Morgans! The third generation to live on and work this land just outside Birmingham, Alabama. Scratch Made isn’t just a name. It’s a double meaning we live by, chickens scratch, and we are building something from scratch. Every bird moved to fresh pasture daily. Every flock raised on certified organic feed sourced from Kentucky Organic Farm and Feed. Pasture-raised, organically fed, soy-free, non-GMO, antibiotic and vaccine-free chicken and eggs, raised with radical transparency about how your food is grown.

This is our third season selling direct to our community. Last year we raised 500 birds. This year we’re raising just under 1,000 and founding subscribers are a big part of why we can plan and grow with that confidence.
